Quick Spin Warm-up Learning the Step Around Transition Yoga Block Demo for Simplly Sweet

A few of the ladies out there may be married to or have a boyfriend who is physiologically, constitutionally INCAPABLE of dancing. No amount of instruction, dvd’s, dance classes, or different styles of music will turn this unccordinated, plodding mass of stumbling stiffness into anything remotely resembling a competent dancer. I am such a person. If your partner is like me, then you will have no problem understanding the center portion of this video and how a testosterone impaired moron like myself could watch a perfectly clear, well presented DVD lesson in which one of the world’s most acomplished polers simply walks and TURNS around a pole–and spend TWO hours being unable to imitate the move. You see, I didn’t actually notice she was TURNING! There’s nothing wrong with the lesson–it’s perfectly clear–right there on the video. I just didn’t notice it! That being said, I followed Fleur’s advice in her last comment to me. “Don’t forget about your spins…” So I removed DVD 2 from the player, and went back to Lesson 1–walking around the pole. The STEP AROUND is actually the most basic spin–done entirely on the ground. I didn’t like the way the foot drag walk looked–but settled for the high step drag across the thigh. Anyone have any suggestions for a more masculine athletic walking style? By the way, now I understand why exotic dancers have so many pairs of shoes. After two hours of turns and transitions, my gym shoes were completely destroyed–the sole simply peeled
